According to a report from GObankingrates.com, Midland, Texas ranked #3 among US cities that offer high salaries and a low cost of living. The report found that the average household income is $115,425 and a Midlander will pay around $31,392.84 for their total necessities. Almost all necessities fall below the national cost of living average.
The Midland Development Corporation participates in the Cost of Living Index data collection that reports the cost of living in Midland. At the end of 2023, Midland's cost of living is 95.3 out of 100 (the national average).
