Business leaders offer input on UTPB engineering dean

Business and industry leaders in oil and gas and other stakeholders were briefed Wednesday at the CEED building on the status of the engineering program and asked for characteristics they would like to see for a College of Engineering dean at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
Midland Development Corp. Chair Brent Hilliard said this is a chance to build a program from the ground up. Hilliard said he sees companies eventually competing to get interns from the program.
