MDC gives final gift to UTPB engineering program

A partnership to bring aerospace engineering to the University of Texas of the Permian Basin was realized fully recently as President Sandra Woodley received the final gift to fund the program’s undergraduate track.
In fall 2016, UTPB started a new aerospace engineering program after getting a three-year commitment from the Midland Development Corp. and the Midland City Council. The major is mechanical engineering with a focus in aerospace engineering.
